Installation / wall and room objects
Size variable

At the center of the installative setting are three large-format images. They were drawn on a touchscreen tablet and then photographed in high resolution from the screen. Lines and shapes of varying width and color crisscross the image surfaces. On closer inspection, moiré-like structures can be seen. Freely cut out chipboards function as image carriers for two of the Lambda prints. These objects are pressed to the wall with wooden slats on which electric cables loop, which make LED tubes glow. Another image is part of a sculptural installation on a purple carpet. The picture is mounted behind a large plexiglas plate set in a dark, angular base. An LED tube bores through the panel into the base and appears to support the plate. In addition, pink lighting is part of the setting, where a robotic vacuum cleaner unflinchingly performs its programmed activity in lines and turns. [Text: Alex Grein]
